My poem, “How I Never Became a Doctor” is forthcoming in issue #171 of the Cimarron Review. They accept submissions year round so check out the guidelines here.

I have also accepted my place in the Bennington Writing Seminars for 2010-2012. I’ll start this summer and will be adding some recommended reading lists in poetry to the site.

CLMP: The Council of Literary Magazines and Presses. This is the lifeblood of literary writing! Literary journals and small presses are the places where new and underrepresented writers get their first gigs, where mid-career writers can receive additional support, and in general where literature, culture, and the arts get to thrive.
