The Writer’s Studio: Founded by Pulitzer Prize (2008) winning poet, Philip Schultz. Online fiction and poetry classes in narrative technique. Can also attened workshops in person in New York, San Francisco, and Tucson. Craft Classes available~learning to read as a writer. Website has wonderful suggested reading lists. Highly recomended program. The best writing classes I’ve ever taken, hands-down.
The Gazebo: A forum for workshopping poetry, sharing tricks of the trade and publishing advice, disucssing craft, giving support, and more! Currently “in exile” because they are moving servers. The forums are up and running even if it doesn’t look too pretty
New Pages: Online resource featuring news, information, and guides to alternative presses, independant publishers, writing programs, literary magazines and journals, conferences, contests, and more. It’s awesome. A must for writers, readers, and even editors.
MiPO: A community for creators and lovers of art & poetry. Includes e-chaps, community chapbooks, audio poetry readings, art share, free magazine downloads, and more.
Very Like A Whale: Home of the “Ten Questions” interviews with poets, editors, and poetry publications–very informative and cool!

Literary Magazine Reviews: Monthly review of select literary magazines. A great market resource.
CLMP: The Council of Literary Magazines and Presses. This is the lifeblood of literary writing! Literary journals and small presses are the places where new and underrepresented writers get their first gigs, where mid-career writers can receive additional support, and in general where literature, culture, and the arts get to thrive. Check it out.
